A discussion with staff and beneficiaries of this one of a kind program serving communities in and around the southern West Bank city of Hebron. Learn about the challenges facing Palestinian residents in the Hebron district as well as the groundbreaking efforts of a local Palestinian theater group to strengthen the resilience and wellbeing of women and children impacted by regional conflict. 

 

Sahar Sabrei is the Project Manager for the HATD-funded “Healthy Minds” drama therapy program at Yes Theater, located in Palestinian city of Hebron in the southern West Bank.

 

The Yes Theater representatives are Raed Al-Shukhi and Suhair Arar.

 

Nehad Fattah is the Palestinian Program Specialist for HATD and has over 10 years of experience working with donor-funded projects in the Middle East. She has a master’s degree in counseling psychology and is licensed to practice in the West Bank.a

 

Aziz Abu Sarah is a Palestinian activist, author, and co-founder and director of MEJDI Tours, promoting socially conscious tourism as a bridge across divides.
